Wonder’neath is an art space located in the heart of Kjipuktuk (North End Halifax) that brings artists and local residents together in dynamic studio explorations. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at making paper, here’s your chance! Andy will help you make your own mold and decal, and show you what you can do with it. There’s no wrong way to do this craft, so come give it a try!

Creating a mosaic is like putting together a puzzle that you design. Join North End resident, Magi, as she shares her creativity and shows you how easy it is to make these handmade works of art. Bring a clear picture frame if you have one!
Fall Cycle Fusion

Facilitation 101
Have you ever wanted to start a community discussion or activity but you’re not sure where to begin? Join Tineke from Common Good Solutions in a discussion about facilitation techniques and discuss how you could facilitate community discussions or activities.
Building Outdoor Planters
Michael and Kieran are back this year for another session. Last year we did benches and this we’ll be building planter boxes. Come and join in for hands on building fun for the whole family!
Cyanotype Art
I’m Kate! Join in for a quick walk to scavenge for items. Place those items on special paper and expose it to sunlight to create something beautiful. Make a print for yourself, and contribute to a collaborative art piece for the shop.
Paint Community Benches
Last year Michael and Kieran brought their design and building talent and hosted constructing community wooden benches. Phase 2: Let’s Paint! Come and add your creativity and community touch to this collaborative painting project.
Beaded Earrings
Tonya Sam’Gwan is a Native and Indigenous Black Canadian artist that lives in the North End. Her name means “water” which flows into her art & life. Come explore traditional Indigenous beadwork and create your own pair of unique earrings.
